If the student is unable to pass the second screening, a letter will be sent home to the child's parent(s)/guardian notifying them of the results along with the recommendation that the student should see an Optometrist.
Hearing:
If a students fails his/her initial hearing screen, they will be re-screened a few weeks later. If they are unable to pass the second screening, they will be referred to the Speech Pathologist at their school so they can assess and complete a third screen.
