The Monroe County Board of Education will have a workshop at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026. The regular monthly board meeting will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the board room at the Director of Schools Office.

Parents of Monroe County students and members of our community are invited to review textbook adoption samples being considered for the 2026-2027 school year.
The instructional materials will be on display at the Monroe County Board of Education and will be available for viewing Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., February 2 through March 11.
Textbooks up for adoption this year include: Welding I & II and Lifetime Wellness
