From local leaders to innovators, educators, entrepreneurs, and beyond, Monroe Made will spotlight outstanding individuals of all ages who began their journey right here in Monroe County Schools. Their stories remind us that with a Monroe County education, you can go anywhere and become anything you dream of.

Some people are remembered for what they accomplished. Others are remembered for how they made people feel. Charlie Hall is one of those rare people who will always be remembered for both. A proud graduate of Vonore High School's Class of 1961, Charlie spent his entire career serving the community as the owner of Hall's Grocery, a place that was far more than just a grocery store.
Brad West, a proud graduate of Sequoyah High School Class of 2006, has taken the values and work ethic he learned in Monroe County and turned them into global success. As the Co-Founder of Xul Beer Company, Brad has helped build one of the most recognized craft beer brands in the industry, proving that big dreams can begin in a small town.
Erik White has built a life and career far beyond the borders of Monroe County, but the lessons he learned growing up in Madisonville continue to guide him every day. A 1989 graduate of Madisonville High School, Erik now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he serves as Production Coordinator at Studio Instrument Rentals New York.
For Emily Hill Ingram, a 2013 graduate of Sequoyah High School, Monroe County Schools provided far more than an education. It provided a foundation for the professional she is today. Now serving as an Operations Manager for KARM Stores, Emily oversees six store locations across four counties as part of Knox Area Rescue Ministries’ mission-driven organization
Hunter Lankford, a 2014 graduate of Sequoyah High School, is the owner of ORCA Pools and Outdoors and a real estate investor in Monroe County. Today, he is proud to build businesses, create jobs, and raise his family in the same community that helped shape him.
