Chromebook Checklist

This is a brief guide for what students and parents will need to do in order to receive their assigned Chromebook at the beginning of the 24-25 school year!

Sign the Chromebook Agreement
Each year, the student’s parent or guardian must sign the annual Chromebook Agreement for their child. The agreement can be signed either online or in-person during the rollout. We recommend signing the agreement online in order to save time during rollout!

Pay the $35 Technology Fee
The $35 Technology Fee is vital to our Chromebook Program. The fee can be paid with cash or check during when picking up the Chromebook, or it can be paid online to skip the lines! If your child has any outstanding repair/replacement fees, they must be paid in-person either before school ends or during rollout in order to receive their Chromebook.

Check for Announcements
Keep an eye on your school’s website for news & annoucements regarding your school’s Chromebook rollout. Your school will announce where and when you can come pick your Chromebook up in the summer. We recommend downloading our official Monroe County Schools App once it releases in June to easily stay up to date on all school and district news!

Pick up your Chromebook!
On the day of your school’s Chromebook rollout, just stop by and pick up your Chromebook If you have paid all fees and signed the agreement prior to the week of rollout, we will have a paper ready for you to use to skip the lines and go straight to pick up your Chromebook!
