The weight room side will give us three times the room that our current weight room has now. We will also have changing rooms and restrooms adjacent to the weight room for boys and girls to dress and shower in. The Alumni side of the building will have a large area for banquets and meetings. A kitchen will also be in the Alumni side as a place to help prepare food for banquets and reunions. We want to include a history of Tellico in the Alumni side. We want to have articles and records of the past from Tellico High School. We are hoping to have a touch screen computer with all of the information. Alumni will be able to look back at past classmates and faculty and staff and see highlights of their “good ole days”! We are going to have something very special for present athletes and students and past Alumni. The center is not geared only toward athletics, but we do want to give our students state of the art equipment in the weight room. I believe everyone from Tellico will be able to enjoy the Alumni Center and weight room once it is completed. We still have a long way to go to completion, but we will get there!
