Services GraphicServices: The TPES Library Media Center is staffed by a certified PreK-12 Library Media Specialist who is also a certified K-8 Teacher.  The media center serves nearly 400 students in grades PreK-4 as well as numerous faculty and staff.  The media center's circulation system is fully automated.  The media center also fully utilizes an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), also known as an electronic card catalog, which allows patrons to search our collection of books and materials via the Internet.  Each class attends an hour-long Library enrichment class each week in the media center.  The media center provides books and other materials for students, faculty, and staff  for checkout.  The media center staff strives to meet the informational needs of its' patrons.  We continuously work to add new items to the collection as funds become available.  The media center staff also instructs its' patrons in information skills, reinforces the school's curriculum and the classroom instruction, while also promoting literacy and instilling a love of reading and information seeking in its' patrons.  We also offer and assist with numerous events such as Scholastic Book Fair and Family Literacy Night.

Volunteer GraphicVolunteer: We are always looking for good volunteers to help in the TPES Library Media Center with the day-to-day operation as well as special events.  If you would like to volunteer, please call Mrs. Charity Standridge at the school at 423-253-2626 or send her a note with your child's name, teacher's name, and phone number on it.
