WELCOME TO T.P.E.S. LIBRARY

The Tellico Plains Elementary Library's main goal is to nurture in our students a love of books and reading.  We also put emphasis on our Accelerated Reader program.  This program helps increase the number of books that the students read, as well as increasing their comprehension level and comfort level in test-taking.  The AR Store is always a big hit with the students. 

* Students should bring their book each week when their class comes to the Library.  Even if they wish to check their book out again, they will need it when they have free reading time.

* Students must pay replacement cost for any book that they lose. There will also be a fee to replace the school bar-code if it becomes removed or damaged while checked out by the student.

* Please take advantage of our Parent Resource Center.  We have lots of great materials and games that parents can check out for a two week period. These items are great for an extra bit of help with your child. Come by and I'll tell you what we have.
