Guidance Counselor, Sarah Kile

The Counseling Center supports the academic, personal, social, and career growth of all Madisonville Middle School students. Middle school is an exciting time of growth and change, and the Counseling Center is a valuable resource that helps parents and students adjust to all of the transitions that take place during these years.  Being a student at Madisonville Middle School involves many new challenges, such as adjusting to different teachers and classes, making new friends, acquiring good study habits, and learning to make important decisions.  Ms. Kile works to help students learn the skills necessary for a successful middle school experience. 

FUTURE FOCUS

Future Focus is a character development course that is taught once a month by every teacher (and Mr. Davis)!  Each month a character trait is taught.  Traits such as honesty, caring, kindness, and even organization are taught during this hour class each month.  Each teacher continues to follow the same group of students for all three years of their middle school years. This is in hopes that a special bond is formed between the teacher and her group.
