Star Student Update

Teachers and staff, you must update your Star Student certificate in order to log in. Please follow the instructions below.

SSMS CertDB Update Instructions:

To update your current certificate, please choose one of the following two options:
1. Download the certdb.exe installer (recommended)
Launch certdb.exe. Do not change the default Destination Folder.
Click ‘install’ to update your certdb.txt file.

2. You may manually overwrite the existing certdb.txt file. (Print this page first)
Right-click here and choose ‘Save Target As…’
In the file dialog box, change the ‘Save As’ destination to C:Program FilesOracleJInitiator 1.3.1.28libsecurity
When prompted if you would like to overwrite the existing file, choose ‘Yes’.

After you install the file, close ALL browser sessions and then reopen your browser and try again. If you are still unable to access Star Student then delete all browsing history and Oracle Jar Cache files and then restart your computer.
